You've Already Contracted...Without Knowing It

You’ve Already Contracted… Without Knowing It

Following on from my previous blog, “The Game of Joinder”, we now turn to what happens after you’ve unknowingly agreed to play the game. Once they’ve tricked you into answering as the legal person, something else happens quietly in the background:

You’ve already entered into contract.

And you probably did it many times, without ever reading a single word.

When you applied for a driver’s licence, a bank account, a passport, or even registered to vote, you entered into a contract with the system. But here’s the catch:

You were never told the full terms.

These are adhesion contracts - one-sided agreements where the institution holds all the power, and you are presumed to agree by virtue of your behaviour. If you use the benefit (like driving with a licence), you’ve accepted the terms, whether you read them or not.

Wait… doesn’t that violate basic contract law?

That’s where it gets even more deceptive.

In the lawful world, a valid contract requires:

  • Full disclosure
  • Mutual agreement
  • Consideration (something of value exchanged)
  • Signatures or demonstrated consent

But in the commercial legal system, the one you operate in by default, contracts are assumed. They’re built on presumptions, and unless you expressly rebut them, they are enforced as truth.

The Real Role of Consent

Consent doesn’t have to be explicit. If you don’t object, and especially if you use the benefits, your silence is interpreted as agreement.

This is how “the system” keeps people bound. Not with chains, but with silent contracts. They don’t need your informed approval, they just need your participation.

You never signed up? Too bad.

If you ever wondered how the government has authority over you, or how a judge can compel you into a court, or why taxes are imposed even if you disagree, this is why.

You didn’t sign a formal contract. You just used a benefit. That’s enough.

But here’s the good news…

What was entered into without full awareness can be challenged through rebuttal, correction of status, and lawful declarations. The key is understanding how it works, and where you are being presumed to consent.

You were never meant to be the debtor. You were never meant to be in perpetual contract. But now that you know, you can begin to change it.
